Shabeer bhatia: Hotmail’s co-founder Sabir Bhatia posted a post on his official X account, which is now being criticized fiercely. In this post, he spoke on the celebrations being celebrated with the fourth largest economy of India. He said that 415 million people in the country live for just 260 rupees (or $ 3.10) daily.

Bhatia wrote in his post, “415 million people in the country live for just 260 rupees (or $ 3.10) daily and you are proud of the fact that India has become the fourth largest economy in the world. Have some Shame.”

I instead of hanging your head in shame that 415 Million People in India Survive on $ 3.10/Day, You Brag About Being The World’s 4th Larget Economy. Shame on you.

– Sabeer Bhatia (@Sabeer) June 10, 2025

Sabir Bhatia is now surrounded by this post. One commented and wrote, “What happened to Rafael? You had to gift the country. Do something better in life. It seems that now you are dependent on social media for living yourself.

To this, Bhatia replied, “Another personal attack.” When people like you do not know how to compete with my thinking, then you resort to personal attack. Weak mind and insecure. ”

We overtook japan in gdp …… but can you feel it in your pocket?
Growth without distribution is just inflation in disguise. pic.twitter.com/mwzevv7hcf

Users’ sharp reactions on Sabir’s post

Another user wrote, “415 million people work hard and live life even for 260 rupees, yet they are happy. We should not be ashamed, they should come, whose number of gun culture, racial violence and homeless people is increasing every day, despite the Arab economy in the country. Look at the mirror, do not preach. ”

A user also wrote, “You are an American citizen. You must have got a new business idea and you want to use the population of India, but before earning the profit from us, you must have thought to let us down. If you have such problems with us, then stay away from us.

Who is Sabir Bhatia?

Let me tell you that Sabir Bhatia along with his partner Jack Smith made Hotmail in 1996, which is now known as Outlook.com. It was bought by Microsoft in 1997 for $ 400 million. In 2021, he launched Show Reel in association with Javed Yunus. This is a social video messaging platform like ticket -lock. Through this, you can make your video resume and share it with the companies with whom you want to work. It proves to be helpful in getting a job.
