Burn unbroken flame in southeast direction
According to Vastu, the south-east direction is considered to be the direction of Goddess Durga. Here it is considered auspicious to light a brass lamp (unbroken flame) on the sandalwood post. Also, you can also keep copper swastika here.

Keep a northeast angle clean and empty
The north-east direction i.e. Ishaan angle is considered to be the place of the gods. Auspicious energy enters the house from here. Therefore, never keep heavy goods in this direction. Always keep it clean, open and plain.

Pure purification with incense lamps and herbs
Burning white sandalwood, camphor or herbal incense in the south-east direction sanctifies the energy of the house. Spreading the aroma of cedar or frankinsese in the south-west direction provides stability and protection.

Do plant a basil plant
Tulsi has been given special importance in both Ayurveda and Vastu. Keep it in the east, north or north-east direction of the house near the window or door. Tulsi has anti-fungal properties that protect the house from diseases.
