On the 79th Independence Day, actress Saira Bano shared a soulful message on social media, in which she recalled her deep attachment to India and patriotism of husband, late actor Dilip Kumar. Saira shared a scene related to the 1986 film ‘Ae Watan Tere Liye’ from the 1986 film ‘Karma’ and said that some memories live not in pictures or words, but in breath.

She wrote on Instagram, “Some memories do not live in pictures or words, but in our breath. Even though I was upset in English society, my heart was always with India. It was also felt in the fragrance of Adab and House of Food Teached and Sultan Bhai.

Saira Bano described Dilip Kumar as his biggest value. Saira said, “Today, when I look back, I think everything happened like everything happened, as the above herself has written. For me, husband Dilip Saheb met as the biggest name for me, who was a desi man. He lived his roots with pride and dignity. He did not see his patriotic noise, but he was seen in his actions.

Dilip Kumar did not consider independence as the responsibility

Saira told that Dilip Kumar was given Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and P.V. Along with veterans like Narasimha Rao, there was respect for lawyers, economists and industrialists. But, he used to make him special, his belief that ‘freedom is not just a right, but a responsibility,’ he had faith in returning some of his soil and helping the needy.

Expressing gratitude to his roots and the country, Saira Banu further wrote, “Freedom does not just mean being independent, but to adopt his identity, cherish his legacy and respect those who gave everything to the country.”
