He had told, ‘On Tuesday, his family physician Dr. Sandeep Chopra had come to the hospital with Salim Khan, who was approximately eight and a half years old. After that we gave treatment to Salim Khan in emergency. Blood pressure had become high, some medicines were given for it. He needed observation. In such a situation, he was shifted to ICU. After that, considering his age, he was put on ventilator, because we did not want his condition to worsen.

Talking about Salim Khan’s health, the doctor had further said, ‘He had minimal brain hemorrhage. Usually surgery is not required in such cases. His digital subtraction angiography (DSA) procedure has been done. I will not go into its details. He is fine, stable. He has been shifted to ICU. By tomorrow he will be removed from the ventilator. I understand that age is a factor. So the recovery process will take time.
