When the Super-4 round match was played between India and Pakistan on 21 September, no player of Team India had joined hands with the Pakistan team. The Indian team can do something similar in the final match. Salman Aga has reacted to this and said that such actions set a bad example for the sportsmanship.

Pakistani captain Salman Aga said, “As far as joining hands, I have been playing professional cricket since 2007. I have never seen when 2 team players have not shook hands. My father has also been a big cricket fan and I have heard many stories related to cricket from him. He never mentioned when 2 teams have not shook hands.

Despite the previous controversy of the tournament, Salman Aga’s entire focus is on winning the final match. However, India also dusted Pakistan in group stage and Super-4 rounds. Salman Aga said, “We do not pay attention to what is not under our control. We ignore the talk of the media and outside. Our goal is to win the Asia Cup.”

He further said, “We have come here to play good cricket and will try to win the final tomorrow. Inshallah will see us winning. If we are able to give our best in the entire 40 overs, then we can beat any team.”
