In an old interview given to ETimes, Salman Khan had told that this incident is from the first day of shooting of ‘Biwi No. 1’. Salman said, ‘One day I reached the set late on the first day of shooting. I reached there around 11 am and Sushmita Sen was there since 9 am. As soon as I reached the set, I said, ‘Hi Sush, how are you? I am Salman. This was the first time I was meeting him. But she just shook hands, gave a slight reaction and went away from there.

Salman further said that he was surprised by this reaction of Sushmita. He did not understand why he received such a cold attitude in the first meeting. After this he jokingly asked director David Dhawan, ‘Dude, what’s the problem? Why is she showing me so much attitude? Later he came to know that Sushmita had been waiting for him for a long time and that is why she was a little angry.

There is good friendship between the two

Let us tell you that the first meeting of Salman and Sushmita took place on the sets of the film ‘Biwi No. 1’. At that time, Sushmita Sen was making her mark in Bollywood after winning the title of Miss Universe, while Salman Khan was one of the most popular stars of the industry. During the shooting, the conversation between the two increased and the misunderstanding gradually ended. While working, a good friendship developed between the two. Apart from ‘Biwi No. 1’, both have also worked together in films like ‘Tumko Na Bhool Payenge’ and ‘Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya’. Salman jumped from an 80 feet high mountain

In the 90s, fans loved the body and fitness of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. He also gave fitness training to many actors like Hrithik Roshan. Recently, while talking to Variety India, Salman told about an accident in the film ‘Jagriti’ that in one scene he had to jump from an 80 feet high mountain. Recalling that time he said. ‘Looking from below I felt that I can make this jump. Earlier small boxes were kept, but this time three layer boxes and a mattress were kept on top. When I reached the top, the boxes below were not even visible because the mountain was bent in the middle. I just had to jump by guess.

Salman further said, ‘If I had come down and said that I will not jump, I would have felt very bad. So I told myself that I have to do this. From above the boxes looked so small as if they were a match box. I jumped while running and my foot slipped. My head touched the rock of the mountain and I fell down.

Apart from this, he told about the film ‘Patthar Ke Phool’, in which he had to jump while skating. He said, ‘The first time I jumped, I could not land properly. People were looking at me from the surrounding buildings and their laughter could also be heard. However, secondly, I was coming so fast that it seemed I would cross all the boxes. While jumping, I saw that the boxes were being left behind. Then I saw the road and fell into the pit near the camera. There was a severe injury on my back and I was not able to breathe for about one and a half minutes.

Salman wrote scripts of many films

Also, regarding his work in films, he told that he has never read the complete script of any film. Besides, I have also helped in writing stories in many films. Talking about work, Salman will be seen in ‘Mathrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’ and the upcoming projects of Vamshi Paidipally and Dil Raju.
