The High Court has given permission for re-postmortem in Twisha Sharma death case. Now Twisha’s post-mortem will be conducted again. His body will be kept in minus 80 degree temperature. Post mortem will be conducted again in Delhi or Jammu AIIMS. Twisha’s husband Samarth Singh’s lawyer withdrew the anticipatory bail plea. Samarth’s lawyer Mrigendra Singh said that re-postmortem will lead to loss of trust in the doctors of the state. Advocate General Prashant Singh, on behalf of the government, said that there is no objection to re-postmortem. Instructions were given to keep Twisha Sharma’s body safe in AIIMS Bhopal.

The family of 33-year-old Twisha Sharma has accused her in-laws of torturing her for dowry and forcing her to die. At the same time, the Singh family claims that Twisha was addicted to drugs. Police have registered an FIR against Samarth Singh and Giribala Singh under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code and Dowry Prohibition Act.

Samarth’s allegation – Twisha’s family members want to garner sympathy

Police has announced a cash reward for anyone who helps in the arrest of Samarth Singh. Also, the police has approached the court to get his passport cancelled. In his application, the absconding accused claimed that the WhatsApp chat submitted by the complainant is edited and incomplete. He alleged that WhatsApp chat has been tampered with, which cannot be trusted.

Samarth also attached screenshots regarding the money sent to Twisha and claimed that the allegations of dowry harassment on his part are very disappointing. Samarth’s advocate Mrigendra Singh alleged that to garner a ‘wave of sympathy’ after this incident, a new story is being presented by Twisha’s family, in which there is no truth.
