The admission process for the new academic session 2026-27 has started in universities and educational institutions across the country. In this sequence, Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi, which is among the top educational institutions of Uttar Pradesh, has started the application process for admission in Shastri first year (first semester). Students interested in Sanskrit language, Indian culture and Sanatan tradition can apply online till 15 July 2026.

According to the university administration, the admission process is being conducted completely through online medium. Interested candidates can fill the application form through the official website of the university and can also get other information related to admission.

Vice Chancellor of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma told that the application process for admission in Shastri first semester has started. He said that the university is continuously making efforts to promote the study of Indian knowledge tradition, Sanskrit literature and Sanatan culture. In such a situation, this is a good opportunity for students who want to get higher education in Sanskrit subject.

The Vice Chancellor informed that the application process will continue till July 15, 2026. Only those candidates who apply within the stipulated time limit will be included in the admission process.

Form will have to be filled through online medium

According to the information released by the university, candidates will have to visit the official website ssvv.ac.in to apply. Students can register themselves through the admission portal available on the website and complete the application process by filling the required details.

While applying online, candidates must upload their educational information, personal details and required documents correctly. It is important to check all the information before submitting the application so that there is no problem in future.

Application fee Rs 200

The application fee for admission in Shastri first year has been fixed at Rs 200. Candidates will have to pay the fee through online mode. The application process will be considered complete only after the fee is deposited.

The university administration has advised the students that after filling the application form, keep its printout and the receipt related to the application safe. Apart from this, it will also be necessary to keep the admit card received after the completion of the application process.

Admission will be given on merit basis

It has been told by the university that after the completion of the application process, the merit list of the candidates will be released. Candidates selected in the merit list will be called for document verification and admission process on the scheduled date.
