Samsung production: Samsung, a large electronics company of South Korea, is closely watching the tariff being imposed by US President Donald Trump. If the tariff is low on India, Samsung can shift a part of its production to India. Then from here, the company’s products will be exported to America.

Company ready for every situation

According to a report by news agency PTI, Von-Joon Choi, COO of Samsung’s MX Division, has said, “There is a lot of uncertainty in America at this time, so we are preparing ourselves for different circumstances. We are also ready for our production from many other countries including India. ”

South Korean company Chaibol operates several factories of the company in all countries like China, Vietnam and India. Chaaibol is also ready to diversify its production for shipment in its largest market America.

Trump imposed so much tariff on Vietnam

Here Trump has imposed a 20 percent tariff on Vietnam, where there is a big factory of Samsung. Smartphones are made here on a large scale. Now it is obvious that the company may have to pay more tax on products to be transported from here to America.

In such a situation, the company is now eyeing India, which is currently talking to the Trump administration on the trade agreement. If Trump imposes less tariff on India than in Vietnam, Samsung can shift its production base here from Vietnam.

Samsung’s big factory in Noida

There is a large Samsung factory in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh in India. By the year 2024, its capacity was produced by 70,000 units of mobile annually. It may be that in the coming time, its capacity should be increased in view of increasing demand.
