In Karachi, Multiplex owner and distributor Nadeem Mandaviwala confirmed the film’s brilliant performance. He told that Sardar G3 has earned about 9 crore Pakistani rupees in his opening weekend itself.

Mandaviwala said, “I think this is the best start for any Indian or Pakistani film in our theater so far. Despite expensive tickets and bad weather, people have probably come to see the film because there are school summer holidays. And Pakistani people still want to watch good films on the big screen.”

Controversy over the film

Nadeem Mandaviwala, one of the biggest exhibitors in Karachi, confirmed the release of the film on this Friday.

He said, ‘The censor board has approved the film. Even though there is a ban on the performance of Indian films in Pakistan, one of the producers of this film is Jain Wali Pakistani. Famous distributor and exhibitor Salim Shahzad said, “The film has been approved to release because it is an international Punjabi film and cannot be considered an Indian film.”

Wali said that three Pakistani censor boards- Sindh, Punjab and the federal capital have cleared the release of the film in Pakistani theaters. H E Nia also shared a poster of the film on her social media page.

Diljit Dosanjh has reacted on the controversy about the film. Diljit has told that the film was shot before the Pahalgam attack. The circumstances were not like this at that time. The makers have now decided to release this film as overseas. This film will not be released in India.
