On the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, known as the Iron Man, programs were organized at various places in Rajasthan on 31 October. A war of words was also seen between the leaders of Congress and BJP regarding Sardar Patel.

While the BJP, in the name of Sardar Patel, claimed that it has snatched away all the great men including Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and Ambedkar from the Congress and has left the country’s oldest party at the mercy of only Rahul Gandhi, the Congress hit back at the BJP.

Congress said that Rahul Gandhi is the heritage of this country. If BJP is trying to capture the great men who were associated with Congress by snatching it, then it should not only use their names but should also adopt their ideals, thoughts and thinking.

We snatched away all the great men from the Congress Party – Madan Rathore

It was started by Rajasthan BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathod. In response to a media question, he quipped that we have snatched away all the great men including Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and Ambedkar from the Congress Party. Congress is now alone. He has no one left except Rahul Gandhi.

According to him, Rahul Gandhi is also not the real Gandhi and BJP has also snatched the real Gandhi from Congress. Madan Rathod also said that Rahul Gandhi’s aunt Maneka Gandhi and cousin Varun Gandhi are also in BJP.

BJP should adopt the messages of great men- Pratap Singh Khachariyawas

If the BJP state president made a political attack on the Congress party, the oldest party of the country did not lag behind in retaliating. Senior Congress leader in Rajasthan and former cabinet minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas said that BJP may be happy in snatching the great men associated with the Congress and using their names, but it should not just use the names of these great men, it should also adopt the messages and ideas given by them regarding the unity and integrity of the country. Gandhi and Sardar Patel and other great men always worked to keep the entire country united, but BJP always works to spread hatred against their thinking.

Pratap Singh Khachariyawas also said that Rahul Gandhi, about whom BJP is happy, is the heritage of the country. The entire BJP is scared of the name of Rahul Gandhi. BJP’s pride will be shattered in Bihar elections.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah made serious allegations against Congress on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He said on Friday (31 October) that Congress did not give due respect to Sardar Patel. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Home Minister said that he has completed the work of Sardar Patel by removing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir.
