Indian Coast Guard Bharti 2025: If you are dreaming of serving the country and especially want to contribute to the security of the maritime border, then the Indian Coast Guard has given a golden opportunity for you. In the year 2025, a total of 630 posts have been recruited for the posts of sailor (General Duty, Domestic Branch) and Mechanical (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics).

The online application process for this recruitment has started from 11 June 2025 and will run till 11:30 pm on 25 June 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply by visiting joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in.

How many posts in which category?

CGEPT-01/2026: It has 260 posts of sailor (GD), 30 of mechanical (mechanical), 11 of electrical and 19 posts of electronics.
CGEPT-02/2026: In this, 260 posts of sailor (GD) and 50 posts of domestic branch have been held again.
In this way, qualified youth will be appointed for a total of 630 posts.

Who can apply?

Sailor (General Duty): 12th pass with mathematics and physics.
Sailor (domestic branch): 10th pass from any board.
Mechanical (all trade): 2 to 4 years diploma in engineering trade related to AICTE institute with 10th/12th.

Age limit

Sailor (GD/DB): 21,700 per month Basic pay (pay level-3)

Candidates will have to pay the application fee for this recruitment campaign. General/OBC/EWS candidates will have to pay Rs 300 as fee. While no fee has been kept for SC/ST class candidates.

How will the selection be?

Candidates will be selected in two phases. In the first phase, trial test, Proficiency Test, Physical Standard Test (PST) and documents will be examined. After this, medical examination will be held in the second phase. Candidates who pass all these steps will be included in the final merit list.
