Recently released Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutta starrer song ‘Sarke Chunar’ got caught in controversies as soon as it was released. From common people to Bollywood celebs have given their reactions regarding the lyrics of the song. The lyrics of this song have double meaning, due to which this controversy started. This controversy increased so much that the makers had to remove the song from all platforms. After which now the lyricist who wrote this song has also given his reaction. He has apologized for hurting people’s sentiments by sharing the post on social media platforms.

Rakib Alam apologized
Lyrics of this song have been written by Rakib Alam. Seeing the growing controversy, he recently shared a post on social media. In which he wrote, ‘I want to say something from my side on whatever controversy has come up regarding the lyrics of my song Sarke Chunar. First of all, I consider it necessary to clarify that every word of this song is a translation of the original Kannada lyrics written by the director of the film.

He further wrote, ‘Not a single original word of mine is included in these lyrics. I have only translated the original lyrics word by word. Still, if the words of this song have hurt the sentiments of any person, then I express my regret to Jill for the same. My intention has never been to hurt anyone. Your love and support means a lot to me. Thank you. Rakib Alam’

Reaction of many Bollywood celebs has also come to light on this song. Someone has called this song vulgar, while someone has said that this song has crossed all limits.

Kangana Ranaut’s reaction
While talking about this song to news agency ANI outside the Parliament, Kangana said, ‘Bollywood has crossed all limits of vulgarity, tactics and getting attention. The whole country is strongly condemning this song. But I don’t think he is ashamed of it. There should be more strictness on showing such objectionable things and vulgarity. I think it is necessary to impose some strictness on Bollywood also.

Singer Armaan Malik has also given his reaction regarding this song. He wrote on social networking site Disappointed to see how low songwriters will stoop.

Let us tell you that this song is from the film ‘KD: The Devil’. In which Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt are seen together. Controversy started with the release of this song. People trolled it fiercely on social media regarding its lyrics. After which this song has been removed for now.
