The launch of satellite internet service in India has been awaited for a long time. Many companies including Elon Musk’s Starlink and Jio have applied to the government for this and have also got provisional spectrum, but the wait for the launch is getting longer. Now Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia himself has told why there is a delay in the launch of this service. Let us know what reasons he has given behind this.

Due to these reasons the service has not been launched yet

According to media reports, Scindia said that this service cannot be rolled out until Starlink and other companies fulfill the conditions set by the security agencies. He said that OneWeb, Starlink and Reliance Jio will have to take security clearance as well as ensure that users’ data remains in India. The government has allotted provisional spectrum to these companies and these companies are working closely with security agencies. This process is still going on. He also said that the Department of Telecommunications and the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) are working together to finalize the spectrum pricing.

There is no consensus on pricing

It is being said in the reports that there is no consensus between the Department of Telecommunications and TRAI regarding the pricing of spectrum. The Department of Telecommunications had given several suggestions, including increasing the annual spectrum fee from 4 percent to 5 percent and removing the fee of Rs 500 on every connection in urban areas, which TRAI has rejected. Now the Department of Telecommunications will present its views before the Digital Communication Commission (DCC), after hearing which the DCC will decide what next step should be taken for the pricing of spectrum. After the process is completed from here, it will be sent to the Union Cabinet for approval.

Spacex has left 28 new satellites in space for its satellite based internet service starlink. On Thursday, the company transported these satellites via rockets in the class, after which the company’s global broadband network will now grow bigger than before. Satellites are released into lower-ach orbit (Leo). The company named Mission as Starlink 6-75, which is now successfully completed. Let’s know what will be the situation of Spacex’s starlink satellite internet service.

Spacex company Starlink Satellite provides internet service, which the company is continuously expanding. Its number of satellites is continuously increasing. The company on Thursday added 28 new members to the stratches of Starlink Satellite. 7200 satellites of the company are already posted in the Earth’s lower orbit to provide Starlink Satellite Internet service. Satellite based internet can also reach far-flung and inaccessible parts of the Earth without wired connections. Therefore, every mission of its satellites launch is very important for Spacex.

For Starlink, these new satelats were launched from Launch Complex-40 of Cape Canaveral Space Force Station located in Florida. Falcon 9 Rocket took them into space. The company aims to provide superfast satellite based internet worldwide except the polar regions of the Earth. According to Space.com, the 9 Merlin engine of the rocket was shut down 2.5 minutes after the lift, followed by the stage seperation.

In the first stage, B1080 returned to the Atlantic Ocean below 8 minutes after the liftoff. It was the 18th successful flight for Booster B1080 and 12th for Starlink Mission. Second stage then continued to move forward for payload orbit so that it could deploy satellites in orbit. Then 1 hour after the liftoff, the second stage met its target and deployed 28 satellites. In the next few days, these satellites will be found in their operational slots.

This is the 51st Starlink Mission of Spacex this year and the company’s 34th Falcon 9 of 2025. The company is gradually getting closer to achieving its mission to provide high-speed internet in every corner of the Earth.
