State Bank of India (SBI) has invited applications for 7,150 apprentice posts across the country. The online application process has started from May 19 and the last date for application has been kept as June 8. Graduate candidates can apply by visiting the official portal of SBI.

Let us know who can apply for this. Candidates are advised to apply before the last date. Candidates will not be given the opportunity to apply after the last date.

It has been clarified by the bank that this recruitment is for different states of the entire country. Candidates who have done graduation in any subject from any recognized university can apply for this. That means students of Arts, Science, Commerce or any other stream can take advantage of this opportunity.

Is this a special condition?

A special condition has also been kept in this recruitment. SBI has said that the candidates who pass the online written examination will also have to appear in the local language test of the state from where they have applied. It will be necessary for the candidate to be able to read, write, speak and understand that language. Candidates who do not succeed in this language test will not be included in the final selection.

What is the age limit?

Talking about the age limit, the minimum age of the candidate has been fixed at 20 years and maximum age is 28 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

This much application fee will have to be paid

The application fee has also been fixed. General, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 300, while no fee will be charged from SC, ST and PwBD category candidates.

This is how the selection will happen

There will be an online written examination first in the selection process. This exam will be objective type, in which a total of 100 questions will be asked. Each question will be of one mark. The total duration of the exam will be one hour. Negative marking will also be applicable in this. One fourth mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Questions related to these will be asked

Questions related to General Knowledge, English Language, Mathematics and Reasoning will be asked in the examination. Candidates have been advised to prepare with time management and answer the examination thoughtfully. For more details, candidates can take help of the official site.
