State Bank of India has issued new recruitment notification for retired bank officers. SBI has started the application process for 821 posts of concurrent auditor. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official website. A total of 821 vacant posts will be filled under this recruitment. The application process has started from 14th May and candidates can apply till 11th June 2026.

Only retired bank officers who have experience of working in credit, audit or forex department will be eligible to apply for this recruitment. According to the bank, the candidate must retire under regular superannuation at the age of 60 years. Officers who have left the service earlier due to voluntary retirement, resignation or any other reason will not be able to apply. However, officers who had taken VRS after attaining the age of 58 years and completing 30 years of service will be allowed to apply on completion of 60 years of age.

How will the selection process be?

In the recruitment process, candidates will be selected through shortlisting and interview. Mere fulfilling the eligibility will not guarantee getting an interview call. The selection committee of the bank will prepare the list of candidates on the basis of the prescribed standards. After this the selected candidates will be called for interview. The interview will be of total 100 marks and the final merit list will be prepared on the basis of this. If the marks of two candidates are equal, then the candidate with older age will be given preference.

You will get this much salary every month

State Bank of India has fixed the monthly salary for the candidates selected under Concurrent Auditor Recruitment 2026 as per the retirement grade. This salary given by the bank will be separate from the pension of the candidate and it will not have any impact on the pension. According to the notification of the bank, retired officers from MMGS III grade will be given Rs 45000 every month. Whereas SMGS IV grade officers will get a salary of Rs 50000 per month. SMGS V grade candidates will be paid Rs 65000 monthly, while retired officers from TEGS VI grade will be paid Rs 80000 per month.
