Under this recruitment drive, a total of 821 Concurrent Auditor posts will be filled in SBI. Selected officers will be deployed in different branches of the bank and for audit related work. The application process has already started and the last date to apply has been fixed as June 11, 2026.

Who can apply?

Only retired officers of SBI can apply for this recruitment. It is necessary for the candidate to retire from the bank under regular superannuation after completing the age of 60 years. Apart from this, officers who have experience of working in credit, audit or forex department will be given preference. However, officers who have resigned, been suspended or left the service due to disciplinary reasons will not normally be eligible. Under SBI rules, under certain special circumstances, officers taking VRS can apply after completing 60 years of age.

What is the age limit?

The maximum age of the candidate for new appointment has been fixed at 63 years. The selected officers will be able to work on this post till they complete 65 years of age.

What will the selection process be like?

In this recruitment, candidates will not have to undergo any written examination. The selection process will be completed in two phases. This includes shortlisting of applications and interview. The selection committee of the bank will scrutinize the applications and call eligible candidates for interview. The interview will be of 100 marks and the merit list will be prepared only on the basis of marks obtained in the interview. If two candidates have the same marks, the candidate with older age will be given preference.

How much salary will you get?

Retired officers selected in this recruitment will be given fixed salary every month according to their grade at the time of retirement. In which MMGS-III grade officers will get Rs 45 thousand, SMGS-IV will get Rs 50 thousand, SMGS-V will get Rs 65 thousand and TEGS-VI grade officers will get Rs 80 thousand per month. Apart from this, if any officer is given the work of cluster audit, examination of currency chest, transactions related to forex or any special audit, then he will also be given an additional Rs 2,000 on every branch visit. The special thing is that this entire salary will be separate from the pension they receive.

Which benefits will not be available?

Under this recruitment, the officers selected will not be given accommodation, furniture or other allowances by the bank. Apart from this, they will not get the benefit of PF, gratuity or other service benefits. TDS will also be deducted on salary as per income tax rules. However, the selected officers will be given a unique ID in HRMS.
