Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday (August 31, 2025). After meeting Xi Jinping, PM Modi said that the relations between India and China should not be seen from the perspective of a third country. Prime Minister Modi’s comment clearly indicates the aggressive trade tariff policies of the US and President Donald Trump.

A statement has been issued by India’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday (August 31, 2025). In the statement, the ministry said, “The two leaders have discussed the need to increase India and China’s need to increase the shared base on terrorism and multilateral platforms such as bilateral, regional and global issues and challenges.” The statement also emphasized the strategic rights of Asian neighboring countries.

China reached China amidst the implementation of America’s tariff

The meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping took place on Sunday (August 31, 2025) during the bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation (SCO) held in Tianjin city of China.

PM Modi’s visit to Japan and China took place at a time when US President Donald Trump is constantly isolating India from Russia to import crude oil and many other issues. At the same time, talk about PM Modi’s visit to China, which has taken place after seven years, then the meeting of him and Chinese President Xi Jinping was held when the two countries are showing softening after a military conflict over border dispute in Ladakh’s Galwani Valley in 2020.

What should Prime Minister Narendra Modi speak to Chinese President,

According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (Mea), Modi and Xi Jinping reiterated that the difference in their votes should not be converted into controversies. The two leaders agreed to the fact that ‘both their (India and China) economies have important role in stabilizing the global trade.’ In addition, he also discussed the need to find the solutions accepted in a fair, logical and both sides of the border dispute.

According to Mea, Prime Minister Modi told Xi Jinping, ‘Both India and China follow their strategic rights and their relations should not be seen from any third country’s perspective.’

It is also read from Kailash Mansarovar Yatra to Direct Flight … What issues were discussed between Xi Jinping and PM Modi?

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday (July 16, 2025) accused Congress MP and Leader of Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi of being habitually false and criminal in the case of disrespecting armed forces. BJP national spokesperson Ajay Alok said that he does not even know the ‘F’ of Foreign Policy, but he keeps raising questions.

BJP national spokesperson Ajay Alok said, “After Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar’s meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Congress leader retaliated on the way of the government on the way the government deal with the Chinese issue.” He said, “When our Foreign Minister will go to China for SCO meeting, he will not meet China’s Foreign Minister Wang Ji and President Xi Jinping, who will he meet. Will he meet the Prime Minister of Italy.”

What did Rahul Gandhi say about foreign minister’s visit to China,

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi shared a news on Jaishankar’s meeting with Xi Jinping on Tuesday (July 15) on his X account. He wrote, “I think (now) Chinese Foreign Minister will come and (Prime Minister) will make Modi aware of recent developments in China-India relations. Foreign Minister is now running a complete circus with the aim of destroying India’s foreign policy.”

What did BJP say on army comments?

Two days after Rahul Gandhi was granted bail by a court in Lucknow in a defamation case filed regarding the remarks made in relation to the armed forces, Alok accused the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha of lying habitually. He claimed that Gandhi has often been making derogatory comments against the armed forces.

Alok spoke on adding secular and socialist words in the preamble

Amid the RSS call to reconsider the word ‘secular and socialist’ in the preamble of the Constitution during the Emergency, Alok said that this should be debated in the country as this amendment is an insult to BR Ambedkar and it was done when the opposition leaders were in jail.

Foreign Minister S.K. Jaishankar’s visit to China will be the first journey in April-May 2020 after military tension in Ladakh sector of the Line of Actual Control (LAC). After tension on LAC, bilateral relations between India and China reached the lowest level of six decades.

However, there was a consensus in October last year to end this confrontation between India and China. After which External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar has met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi several times during multilateral programs.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with his Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing before attending a council meeting of SCO Foreign Ministers held in Tianjin on 14 and 15 July.
Foreign ministers of both countries can discuss many issues

In the bilateral meeting between Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, there is also to be a discussion on the efforts to reduce the tension on LAC and to bring back the military forces of the two countries back to the position of LAC at the time of peace and to discuss ways to normalize relations like Trade and Peepal to Peepal contact with it.

Kailash Mansarovar’s visit resumed after five years

Mea on rajnath Singh in sco summit: External Affairs Minister S.K. Jaishankar has given his response. He said that SCO was formed with the aim of fighting terrorism. When Rajnath Singh went to the meeting of Defense Ministers and the result document was discussed, a country said that they do not want reference to it.

Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar further said that it was right to think of Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. When the main objective of this organization is to fight terrorism and you are not allowing it to refer to it, then they did not agree to accept it. Therefore, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh clearly stated that if terrorism is not mentioned in the statement, then we will not sign it.

Defense Minister refuses signature

India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in China to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit on June 25-26, where he refused to sign the SCO Summit’s joint statement. India also wanted to include the issue of Pahalgam terror attack in this summit, but when this did not happen, the Defense Minister rejected the joint statement of this summit.

India’s tough stance over terrorism

After the terrorist attack on tourists on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India is now taking tough decisions about Pakistan and terrorism. Perhaps this is the reason why the Defense Minister of the country Rajnath Singh refused to sign the summit. This has caused a big shock to Pakistan. After the Pahalgam attack, tension between India and Pakistan had increased, after which India wanted the issue of terrorism to be included in the SCO Summit.

Also read: Many hideouts of Pakistan were on the target of Navy, there could have been destruction during operation vermilion, but India did not attack

For the first time after Operation Sindoor, India and Pakistan Defense Minister and National Security Advisor (NSA) will be face to face. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and NSA Ajit Doval will arrive on Wednesday (June 25, 2025) to reach Kingado in China to attend the Shanghai Corporation Organization (SCO) summit. Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khwaja Asif and NSA Asim Malik are also going to attend this meeting. Ajit Doval is already in China and also met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday.

This will be the first time after Operation Sindoor when the Defense Minister of India and Pakistan and NSA will face face to face under one roof. India can also raise the issue of terrorism in the meeting and will sit in front of Pakistan and expose them how terrorist conspiracies are hatched from there.

The SCO meeting is to be held on June 25 and 26 and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has posted on the social media platform X and told that he will leave for China today to attend the meeting. He wrote in his post, ‘Through the SCO meeting, there will be a chance to discuss different issues with the defense ministers of different countries. I am ready to call for joint and continuous efforts to eliminate global peace, security and terrorism.

On the sidelines of the SCO meeting, India will meet the Defense Ministers and NSAs of other member countries including Russia and China, but the hope of having a bilateral meeting with Pakistan is negligible as India has made it clear that no other issue will be discussed until Pakistan does not talk on terrorism and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK).

India has always been against terrorism. The terrorist organizations on the land of Pakistan create conspiracy against India and carry out incidents like Pahalgam attack, but Pakistan has been lying on the issue of terrorism and has now started to call itself a victim of terror. Pakistan has given shelter to the bosses of dreaded terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hizbul Mujahideen and Jaish-e-Mohammed. Terrorist camps are run there, but Pakistan has been denying it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Foreign Minister Dr. S. All the ministers, including Jaishankar, have said that business and terrorism cannot run together. Now the same thing is worth talking between the two countries and that is that Pakistan should hand over the terrorists to India and vacate the part of Jammu and Kashmir which has been illegally occupied. India has said that there will be no bilateral talks with Pakistan until these issues are resolved.

The SCO was formed in the year 2001 and India became its member in 2017. The SCO meeting was held in New Delhi in the year 2023, when Pak Defense Minister Khwaja Asif did not come to India to attend the meeting, but he attended the meeting virtually. SCO member countries are India, China, Russia, Pakistan, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Iran and Belarus.
