Keeping these things in mind, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has taken some important steps to ban online fraud. Under the @Valid UPI handle, SEBI will give a special UPI ID to its register broker, mutual fund companies. There will be two main things in this ID. The ID will begin with @Valid. Which will give information that SEBI has recognized it. Along with this, the institution will be given a symbol according to its identity. So that he will be identified. BRK for brokers, MF for mutual funds is designed to identify. For example, a broker’s ID will look like xyz.Brk@validsbi, and xyz.mf@validsbi for mutual funds.

Sebi check tool

Before transferring money under SEBI check tool, investors can check the UPI ID of the broker by visiting SEBI’s charioteer app or SEBI website. The @Valid UPI ID or account number and IFSC code of the broker are used for this UPI ID. SEBI says that such steps are being taken to prevent fraud and make investment payment easier.

At the same time, SEBI has made the system completely user friendly and keeping in mind its safety, some necessary features have also been added. Features like visual confirmation have been added. So that whenever you pay the payment on a SEBI authorized broker or institution on the @Valid UPI ID, the payment will be seen in the green trangal on the payment screen.
