Indian people are very fond of old iPhones. A survey has revealed that 3 out of every 5 people who bought old phones have bought the iPhone. The survey of Kishifai has revealed that in the first six months of this year, more than half of the customers who purchased refurbished mobiles have chosen the iPhone instead of the remaining phones. About 63 percent of the total refurbished mobiles sold in the first half of the year were iPhones. It is being known that passion towards iPhone is increasing among people.

Now people are buying cheap old phones less

It has also come out in the survey that people are not paying much attention to the price while buying an old phone. At one time people used to keep a budget of Rs 15,000-30,000 for old phones, but now they are buying premium phones worth more than 60 thousand. Apart from this, about 70 percent of the users have 2-3 such phones at home, which they are not using.

Last year too, a lot of second-hand iPhone was sold

Apple dominated the refurbished mobile segment last year. 64.5 percent of the total second -hand mobiles sold last year were iPhones. In the first half of this year, this figure has reached 63 percent. It is expected to grow further in the festive season. Talking about the rest of the companies in this list, no one is also around Apple. OnePlus second with a 10.2 percent stake in the refurbished segment, Xiaomi third with 9.7 percent, Samsung fourth with 6.1 percent and Vivo of 3.2 percent is ranked fifth.

Pro models demand more

The demand for second-hand premium phone is increasing rapidly. The demand for expensive models like iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro has been increased by 33 percent on an annual basis. It was also found in the survey that 33 percent of the people sell the old phone and invest the money in the new phone.
