Indonesian-American model Manohara Odelia has made public a very painful truth related to her life after years. She has clearly stated that her relationship with Malaysian Prince Tengku Fakhri was neither consensual nor legally valid. In a statement issued on social media, Manohara has expressed strong objection to the media calling her an ex-wife. She says that when all this happened, she was only a 16 year old minor.

Now 33-year-old Manohara clarified that the so-called marriage that took place in 2008 was actually a forced relationship. He said that at that age he neither had the freedom to understand the situation nor the ability to independently consent to any decision. She claims she was kept in isolation, limited in contact with her family and kept under strict surveillance inside the royal palace.

Manohara has appealed to journalists, editors and digital platforms like Google and Wikipedia to stop presenting this relationship as ex-wife or former marriage. He says that such words portray a story of coercion and exploitation as a normal and legitimate relationship, which is not only wrong but also immoral.

In the statement, Manohara said that the one year spent in the royal palace of Kelantan was the most frightening period of his life. She alleged that there she was not allowed to move freely, was under constant surveillance and even faced physical and sexual abuse. In 2009, Manohara saved his life by running away from a hotel in Singapore during a royal visit. During this time, her mother, local administration and the American Embassy helped her, after which she was able to return to Indonesia. A shocking incident has come to light from Hauz Kazi area of Delhi. A 39 -year -old man allegedly raped his own mother. The incident occurred when the woman returned to the pilgrimage of Saudi Arabia with her husband and daughter.

Mother and daughter reached the police station with a complaint

According to police officials, the victim along with her 25 -year -old daughter reached Hauz Qazi police station and made serious allegations of assault and sexual abuse. The woman said that her son had been harassing him for a long time and often assaulted him.

Controversy started during the journey itself

The woman told the police that she had gone to the Saudi Arabia pilgrimage with her husband (72 years) and daughter on 25 July. During this time, his son repeatedly called the father and accused the mother of characterlessness. He was pressurizing his father to immediately return to Delhi and divorce his mother.

Attempted attack after returning

The family returned to Delhi on 1 August. The same day the son beat up the mother and tried to attack again the next day. The woman started living in her elder daughter’s in -laws for a few days due to fear, but the situation did not improve.

When the woman returned home at around 9:30 pm on the night of 11 August, the son adamant to talk to her alone. Then he locked the room from inside and threatened with a knife and scissors. Meanwhile, he allegedly raped his mother.

Broken silence after the second time

The woman told the police that due to fear and shame, she did not immediately tell this to anyone. She started sleeping in the room with her daughter. But at around 3:30 in the morning of August 14, the son again did the same disgusting work. After this, the woman gathered courage and reached the police station directly.

On the complaint of the woman, the Delhi Police has registered a case in the relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS). The accused has been arrested by the police.

The police officer said that the accused is a graduate but is currently unemployed. The victim is an uneducated housewife and her husband is a retired government employee.

In the order given last week, US District Judge Charles Goodwin said that even after completion of the sentence, he will be under lifetime surveillance. Gudwin said that Kurremula has given such a wound to the victims and their family, which would not heal for a lifetime. During the hearing of the case, Kurremula confessed that he threatened a minor that he would go to his house and show his parents his pornographic photos. He also threatened another minor to make her pornographic photos and videos public.

Sexual abuse of 19 minors
In April last year, Kurremula was accused of sexual abuse and child pornography. According to an affidavit filed in support of a criminal complaint, in October 2023, the Federal Investigation Bureau of Investigation (FBI) launched an account on a social media messaging app in which a user was sexually abusing minor girls. The Internet protocol address used to create an account helped the federal officials reach Kurremula. Kurremula had sexually abused at least 19 minors through the social media messaging app.
