Bollywood’s famous playback singer Shaan has lent his voice to many superhit songs in his career. He is often in the news for some reason or the other. Now Shaan has come into limelight for one of his interviews. Shaan recently revealed that one day at a petrol pump in Mumbai, school girls mistook him for Shahrukh Khan. ‘There was chaos for some time’
In an interview given to Humans of Bombay, Shaan revealed that school girls had mistaken him for Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan at a petrol pump in Mumbai. He said, ‘I had bought a new car. My Maruti 800 and I had stopped at a petrol pump to fill petrol. I was standing outside. Then suddenly a bus full of school girls came and they surrounded me. There was chaos for some time, then everyone went back to the bus.

‘It was for a while, but it was good’
He further said, ‘Later it came to light that the girls had mistaken me for Shahrukh Khan. She was not from Mumbai, so she did not know that such big superstars do not go to petrol pumps to fill petrol in their cars. They thought I was a superstar. Till then I myself was surprised as to what was happening. What madness is this? It was for a while, but it was good.

Interestingly, Shaan has lent his voice to many hit songs for Shahrukh Khan. This list includes songs like ‘Main Hoon Don’, ‘Kuch To Hua Hai’, ‘Dastan-e-Om Shanti Om’, ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ and ‘Aankhen Khuli’.
