Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Ra.One’ was released in the year 2011. This is a sci-fi action film which was one of the hit films of that year. Now after 14 years, Shahrukh Khan has given a big hint about its sequel. During the special fan meet on his 60th birthday, the superstar described ‘Ra.One’ as very close to his heart and said that he wants to make ‘Ra.One’ 2.

Talking about ‘Ra.One’, Shahrukh Khan said- ‘Because it was a new kind of film and was very close to my heart. Anubhav (director) had worked very hard in making it. So I hoped it would start a new trend. Because I always feel that if I make a film, because my position is very good and God has blessed me to be in this position, then I should make such things which will inspire others to make such films. Because this is very important for our country.

Said this about ‘Ra.One’
Shahrukh Khan further said- ‘I thought that when I make ‘Ra.One’, everyone will say that this is a superhero film. Not just the superhero one, but it also had visual effects. Studios will come here, a lot will change. So yes, it did not live up to those expectations. But as a film, it performed very well. I think people liked it even then. And maybe there were some things – like PlayStation, video games, or the iPad – that people weren’t very familiar with at that time. Now we know a lot about all this. Now everyone has a smartphone. It was not like that at that time.

What did Shahrukh Khan say on the sequel of ‘Ra.One’?
Regarding the sequel of ‘Ra.One’, ‘G.One’, Shahrukh Khan said – ‘If Anubhav ever decides to do it, because he has made it, and I think only he can make it again. We have worked very hard on this and Inshallah, if the time is ever right, we can do it again. Anyway, it is easier now.
