Afghanistan Cricket Board said that funeral prayers will be offered at 10 am on Thursday at the historic Idgah Mosque of Kabul. After this, he will be laid to rest in the cemetery located at Maranjan Hill.

Shapoor Zadran took 43 wickets in 44 ODI matches for Afghanistan. He played 36 T20 International matches, in which he took 37 wickets. He also played in Bangladesh Premier League in 2012/13.
