Afghanistan’s fast bowler Shapoor Zadran had to be admitted to the hospital due to serious illness. He is currently fighting the battle of life and death in the ICU. According to reports, his condition is critical. Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal shared some photos of the hospital and prayed for his speedy recovery. Shahid Afridi told that he spoke to Zadran’s brother and is very sad to know about his condition.

38 year old Shapoor Zadran has a serious illness, after which he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He is currently under the supervision of doctors. Former Pakistan cricketer Umar Akmal shared some pictures of Zadran on the social media platform ‘X’, seeing which everyone is getting worried and praying for his speedy recovery.

Shahid Afridi expressed concern

While sharing Shapoor Zadran’s photo on ‘X’, Omar Akmal wrote, “Zadran brother is like my friend. I pray for his speedy recovery, Ameen.” Shahid Afridi also prayed for Zadran’s speedy recovery and said that he spoke to his brother on phone.

Shahid Afridi wrote, “Spoke to Shapoor Zadran’s brother on phone today, really sad to hear about his condition. You have always been a fighter on the field, and I know you will fight through this difficulty and win. I am praying for your speedy recovery.”

Shapoor Zadran’s cricket career

Zadran was a fast bowler, who dismissed many legends in his career. He played against every big team in the world. Between 2009 and 2019, he played 44 ODI and 36 T20 International matches. He has 43 wickets in ODI and 37 wickets in T20. Apart from this, Shapoor Zadran took 90 wickets in 83 T20 matches.
