NCP (SP) chief and former Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar on Wednesday (04 February) said that the new US tariff policy includes provisions allowing export of agricultural products to India, which is a matter of concern for Indian farmers. Talking to reporters in Baramati, Sharad Pawar said that a clear picture of the recent trade agreement between India and America will emerge in the next two days.

Rajya Sabha member Pawar said that we can say something only after the picture becomes clear. However, there is a provision in the India-US tariff agreement announced by the US that allows agricultural exports to India, which is a matter of concern for Indian farmers and the domestic agriculture sector.

Agricultural export can cause loss to local producers- Pawar

Sharad Pawar on Pahalgam Terror Attack: NCP chief Sharad Pawar said on Friday (April 25) that the central government is constantly claiming that terrorism in Kashmir has ended, but the terrorist attack in Pahalgam reflects the default in security. He said that corrective steps need to be taken immediately.

I am glad that if this is happening (ending terrorism in the Kashmir Valley), but the recent terrorist attack shows that there are some flaws and immediate steps need to be taken to remove these flaws.
