Share Market 20 May 2026 Live Updates: Today, on May 20, 2026, the stock market has started with a decline. Both BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 are seen in the red. The Sensex has fallen by about 114 points so far and is currently at the level of 75,200.85. At the same time, Nifty is trading at the level of 23,618 after slipping 31.95 points.

On May 19, Wall Street closed with a decline. The S&P 500 fell 0.67 percent to 7,353.61, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 0.84 percent to 25,870.71. Dow Jones Industrial Average also fell 322.24 points or 0.65 percent and closed at 49,363.88.

Rupee fell flat
Even today the rupee was seen falling for the eighth consecutive day. At the beginning of the week, the rupee had fallen by 25 paise to 96.61 against the dollar, then finally closed at 96.5325 with a fall of 0.2 per cent.
