Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren said goodbye to the world at the age of 81. He breathed his last at Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi on 8.56 in the morning of Monday (August 4). Shibu Soren was struggling with long illness. Two days ago, he was given ventilator support due to overcrowding health.

Shibu Soren has left the family behind him alone. Shibu Soren was survived by his wife Rupi Soren and four children. Durga Soren was the eldest of three sons and a daughter. Then daughter Anjali Soren, third at number three is Hemant Soren (current Chief Minister of Jharkhand) and youngest Basant Soren.

What is the religion of Shibu Soren?
Born in Ramgarh district (then Bihar) on 11 January 1944, Shibu Soren comes from Santhal community. Shibu Soren, a three -time Chief Minister, was currently a Rajya Sabha MP from Jharkhand.

How many times did Shibu Soren become Chief Minister?
For the first time in 2005, he became the Chief Minister for 10 days, when he took over from March 2 to March 12. Then, for the second time in the year 2008-09 and for the third time in the year 2009-10, he took responsibility for the post of Chief Minister.

Apart from this, Shibu Soren also took responsibility for the post of Union Minister thrice. In the year 2004, 2004-05 and then 2005-06 he became the Minister of Coal three times. Earlier, he was a Lok Sabha MP from Dumka from 1980-84 and 1989-99. Then from the year 2002 to 2019, he took the responsibility of MP.

Shibu Soren’s big role in the formation of Jharkhand
Shibu Soren founded the Santhal Navayuvak Sangh at the age of 18. After this, in the year 1972, he along with AK Roy and Binod Bihari Mahato formed the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. The ‘separate state movement’ gave Shibu Soren a identity. Due to this, Jharkhand became a separate state from Bihar in the year 2000.

All three sons of Shibu Soren were active in politics. However, in 2009, the eldest son Durga Soren died suddenly while being an MLA. He met his bed in a dead state. Durga Soren’s wife Sita Soren is currently in BJP. They have three daughters. In addition, Shibu Soren’s youngest son Basant is the head of JMM’s Youth Wing. At the same time, Anjali Soren is a social worker.

Kalpana Soren, wife of Hemant Soren, is also an MLA and is handling the responsibility of Gandey seat. Hemant and Kalpana Soren have two sons Nikhil and Ansh. Clapna is Soren B.Tech and MBA.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha founder and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren breathed his last in Delhi today. He was ill for a long time, due to which he was admitted to the Admit Department of Sir Gangaram Hospital in Delhi, where he breathed his last. Giving information about this, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand and his son Hemant Sorene said that “Respected Dishom Guruji has left all of us. According to media reports, 81 -year -old Shibu Soren was suffering from kidney disease and was also struggling with sugar and heart problems. Apart from this, he also had many other problems. Due to this, he was undergoing treatment in the hospital for a long time. He suddenly had a brain stroke, due to which he was admitted to the hospital and he was on ventilator for the last 2 days.
