Shivang Kumar Profile: SRH has given all-rounder Shivang Kumar a chance to make his IPL debut in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Who is Shivang Kumar?

Shivang Kumar was born on May 26, 2002. He comes from Madhya Pradesh and plays for MP in domestic cricket. He is a Chinaman bowler, that is, he bowls wrist spin with his left hand. With the arrival of Shivang, Sunrisers Hyderabad also gets an option in batting because he can bat well. Shivang Kumar is coming with amazing performance in Vijay Hazare Trophy. He took 10 wickets in 3 matches for Madhya Pradesh and also scored a half-century in batting.

Shivang Kumar had emerged in Madhya Pradesh League 2025. While opening the match against Bundelkhand Bulls, he made his mark in T20 cricket by playing a stormy innings of 91 runs in 42 balls. In this explosive innings, he hit 9 fours and 6 sixes. In that league, he also took 5 wickets while weaving the web of spin.

Spin bowling all-rounder Shivang Kumar has made his domestic debut for Madhya Pradesh only in December 2025. Till now he has played only 4 T20 matches, in which he has taken 4 wickets and also scored 59 runs, of which his highest score is 45 runs. He also made his List-A cricket debut by playing 3 matches in Vijay Hazare Trophy. He has 67 runs and 10 wickets in his name in three List-A matches. Sunrisers Hyderabad bought him in the mini auction by bidding Rs 30 lakh.
