The whole of India must be wishing for the recovery of Shreyas Iyer. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had given an update saying that Iyer has suffered a spleen injury, which clearly means internal bleeding. He was also admitted to the ICU, but the good news is that now Iyer is out of the ICU.

Iyer suffered a rib injury while taking a catch in the third ODI match played against Australia in Sydney. When all the test reports came out, it was found that he had internal bleeding. Cricbuzz’s recent report has revealed that Iyer has now come out of the ICU, but the danger is not completely over as his condition still remains critical.

If sources are to be believed, Shreyas Iyer is currently out of danger, but his condition was critical due to leakage of blood inside the body. While taking the catch of Alex Carey, Iyer fell on the ground on his chest, after which he was admitted to the hospital in Sydney itself. It is being told that some friends are still with Iyer and after the completion of the visa process, one of his family members may reach Sydney soon.

BCCI had given update

BCCI had given an update on Shreyas Iyer’s injury and said that he has suffered an injury below the left rib. The scan revealed that he had suffered an injury to his spleen. It was told that Iyer is under the supervision of doctors and is recovering well. The spleen is a small organ, which is located below the ribs. This organ works to filter blood.

Indian ODI team vice-captain Shreyas Iyer is probably out of the team for several weeks. He suffered a rib injury while taking a catch in the last ODI match played against Australia in Sydney. Like Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant has the ability to move the scoreboard forward rapidly in the middle overs. Pant has scored 871 runs in 31 ODI matches so far.

2. Tilak Verma

In T20, Indian team’s superstar Tilak Verma, who made India the champion by playing an unbeaten match-winning inning of 69 runs in the Asia Cup final. Has shown good performance at number 3 and four in T20. He has also made the world aware of his ability to handle his innings in pressure situations. Tilak has played only 4 ODI matches so far, but has not been able to get consistent opportunities. His average in List-A cricket is 45.69. He has 5 centuries and 10 fifties in his name in 40 List-A innings.

3. Riyan Parag

In the last 2 years, Riyan Parag’s figures have traveled from ground to sky. Has scored 966 runs in the last two IPL seasons. In his List-A career of 53 matches, he has scored 1922 runs including 5 centuries and 11 half-centuries. Recently, in the Ranji match against Services, he wreaked havoc for Assam not only in batting but also in bowling, taking 7 wickets. Team India can also get an advantage with the arrival of Parag, because he can bowl 4-5 overs if needed.
