The Indian Air Force Group Captain and Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla recently attended an event where he shared his experiences related to the space journey. During this, he spoke to ABP News and shared the memories of space. He told that after returning from space, he is very happy with the love he is getting in India.

Shubhanshu Shukla said that after the space journey, he feels very good to come to the earth. The experience there was very good and after that too, the way people are getting love here, it is also very good. People are very excited about this mission and I am very happy for it.

Who missed the most?

He told that when he was preparing to go to space and during the space journey he missed his family and friends a lot. He said that we were in Quarrantin since a month before going to the space, I was in training before, so it was too much time, I met my wife and child and I had not met my parents for a year. So you miss all of them too much

Although you could meet them at the time of Quality, but could meet from far away. So could not get much. So in the initial days, he missed a lot but then after that everything became exciting and it was not known when 20 days went out.

What would Shubhanshu like to live?

When Shubhanshu Shukla was asked that if he wants to choose something from the Indian Air Force or Astronaut, then in response to this he said that I think I have experienced both Indian Air Force and Astronaut. I don’t think you can choose something, sometimes something happens to you. Therefore, you should be ready for every new experience.

When Shubhanshu returned to the earth after the space journey, he first wished to eat, in response, he said that when he returned to the earth, he was very fond of eating salty. As soon as he came to earth, he had asked for chips to eat because he was in America, he was not in India. After which they were given chips. However, later he ate mini kachori which was very good.

Shubhanshu Shukla has returned to earth after spending 18 days in space. 4 people, including Shubhanshu, were riding in the dragon spacecraft of SpaceX and all have been landed on safe India. This spacecraft was landed in California at 3:01 pm Indian time on Tuesday, July 15. A teacher of Shubhanshu Shukla at City Montisori School told that when Shubhanshu returned to India from California, the whole of Lucknow came in his honor. He said, “Shubhanshu used to get good numbers even after studying less during his school days. Everyone felt how he brought such good numbers. Shubhanshu used to show interest in sports, especially in football. He used to play cricket too. When Shubhanshu applied in NDA, his parents did not support him.

Shubhanshu was born in the middle class family

Shubhanshu Shukla was born on 10 October 1985 in a middle class family in Lucknow. There was very little hope that Shubhanshu would move towards becoming an astronaut, but an aircraft had increased his interest in the region. Shukla saw an aircraft in childhood, where he was thrilled to hear the speed and voice of the aircraft.

He had applied for the National Defense Academy, but his application was rejected due to old age. He was appointed to the Indian Air Force in the year 2006 and obtained an MTech degree in Aerospace Engineering. He has an experience of flying advanced fighter jets like MiG-29, Dornier 228. In 2019, he was selected for ISRO’s ‘Indian Human Spaceflight Program’. He was one of the four candidates who were selected for astronaut training.
