However, the sub -committee of the cabinet has already recommended to cancel the recruitment once. After the end of the meeting, the chairman of the sub -committee and Cabinet Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Law Department, Jogaram Patel informed the media. He said that in today’s meeting, the details of the action being taken by the SIT and Home Department were also presented before the sub -committee. The candidates involved in the recruitment are eagerly waiting for the decision of the sub -committee meeting.

About eight lakh people applied to join recruitment

Significantly, the recruitment process started in 2021 for the recruitment of 859 posts of Sub Inspector in Rajasthan Police. About eight lakh people applied to join the recruitment. In the case of paper leaks and fake wades, SIT has so far arrested more than a hundred arrested along with about 50 trainee sub -inspectors. Along with the SIT investigating the case, the Sub -Committee of the Police Headquarters, Home Department, Cabinet has also recommended to cancel the recruitment.
