Siddhant Chaturvedi on Laila Majnu: Bollywood’s most dashing actor Siddhant Chaturvedi and Trupti Dimri are going to be seen together in the romantic drama film ‘Dhadak 2’ for the first time. Recently, Siddhant has revealed that if he had found the film Laila Majnu, it would have been his second film with Trupti.

Does Laila’s principles appear in Majnu role?

‘Gully Boy’ actor Siddhanta is very busy these days about the promotion of the film ‘Dhadak 2’. Meanwhile, recently he revealed in an interview that he could have worked with Trupti in a film earlier. He told that he auditioned for Imtiaz Ali’s directed film ‘Laila Majnu’ in the year 2018, in which Trupti was the lead actress. Avinash Tiwari finally got the role of the film’s lead hero Cass Bhatt, but Siddhant also reached the final round for this character.

Siddhant further stated that he was only 22 years old at that time, while the makers of the film ‘Laila Majnu’ wanted a cast with a little mature face of 25-26 years. During that time, he also increased his beard and went to Pune and got a photoshoot done. Although he could not get that role, but later Avinash got a chance to work in the web series ‘Inside Edge’.

In ‘Dhadak 2’, now Siddhant Chaturvedi and Trupti Dimri are going to be seen sharing the screen for the first time. The film is a story of two separate casts and one lovers of the society. In the film, Siddhant is playing Nilesh’s character and will be seen playing the role of Trupti method.
