The first stage is fatty liver. In this, fat accumulates in the liver. It can also be done by drinking heavy alcohol for a few weeks. The good thing is that if you leave alcohol in time, the liver can be cured again.

The second stage is alcoholic hepatitis. It causes inflammation in the liver. Its symptoms are fatigue, vomiting, loss of appetite and yellow skin (jaundice). If there is no treatment on time, it can be fatal.

The third stage is cirrhosis. In this, the liver gets very bad and strict tissue is made in its place. Liver is not cured in this stage. Many times liver transplant is the last treatment.
