Hindustan Zinc shares deteriorated

There was pressure on the shares of Hindustan Zinc Company in the Indian stock market on Thursday. The company shares ended the day trading at Rs 590.45, down 6.23 per cent or Rs 39.20 on BSE. The shares started the trading day at Rs 623. Talking about the last 2 days, during this period the shares have slipped by about 7 percent.

However, if we talk about the data of one month, the company shares have given an opportunity to the investors to register a rise of about 20.91 percent. Talking about the 52-week high level of the company, during this period the shares had touched the figure of Rs 656.25. Whereas the 52 week low level was Rs 378.65.

Reason for decline in Hindustan Zinc shares

In the third quarter, silver production has declined by about 1 percent on an annual basis. Earlier in the second quarter, the company had reduced its production guidance to 680 tonnes. Which was earlier kept in the range of 700–710 tonnes.

Condition of silver on Multi Commodity Exchange

Tremendous fluctuations have been seen in the prices of silver for the last few days. A sharp fall in silver was seen on January 7. At the same time, today i.e. on January 8 also silver has slipped.

Till the time of writing the news, a strong fall was being seen in silver with expiry of March 5, 2026 on MCX. Silver futures on MCX were trading at Rs 2,41,741 (per kg). Which shows a decline of about Rs 9000 from the previous day’s closing price.
