Gold Silver Price Today: A fall in the prices of gold and silver is being seen in the domestic futures market on Thursday, April 9. At the beginning of trading, the prices of both gold and silver had fallen. Till the time of writing the news, the gold future future with expiry of June 5, 2026 was trading with a fall of about Rs 420 on Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

Gold futures on MCX opened at Rs 1,50,647 (per 10 grams). On its last trading day, gold on MCX had closed trading at Rs 1,51,776.

At around 9:50 am, gold futures were trading at Rs 1,51,357, down 0.28 percent. Gold futures had reached a high of Rs 1,51,452 in early trade. Let us know what is the price of these precious metals in your city today.

On MCX, silver with expiry of May 5, 2026 is trading with a decline of 1.13 percent or Rs 2,710. Silver started the trading day at Rs 2,35,850. The high level of silver during the day’s trading was Rs 2,37,589.

Today, 10 grams of silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 2,601 in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. At the same time, to buy 100 grams of silver, customers will have to pay Rs 26,010. The price of 10 grams of silver in Chennai is Rs 2,651.
