How to check fake SIM?

If there is a fake SIM in your name, then to avoid this problem, the Government of India has created a special website TAFCOP (Telecom Analytics for Fraud Management and Consumer Protection). With the help of this portal, you can know in just 1 minute how many and which SIM cards are running in your name. It is very important to know how many SIMs are active in your name because if someone has activated the SIM on your ID and it is being used for wrong purposes, then you can become responsible. Your name may appear in some fraud or scam. If multiple SIMs are running without your knowledge, then the data and privacy risk also increases. Also, only a maximum of 9 SIM cards can be activated on one ID.

1. First of all, go to the browser of your mobile or laptop and open the website https://tafcop.dgtelecom.gov.in/.

2. After this a box will appear on the home page, enter your mobile number in it.

3. Now fill the captcha code given below and click on Validate Captcha.

4. Now an OTP will come on your mobile, enter it and login.

5. After login, you will see the list of all the mobile numbers which are linked to your ID.

What to do if a number is not yours?

If you see a number in the list which you do not recognize or which you have not taken yourself, then select the Not My Number option given in front of that number and then click on the Report button. Now after registering the complaint, you will get a ticket ID or reference number. Also, your complaint will be investigated and if necessary, that fake SIM will be closed or removed from your ID.

Dot Fri System Blacklist 4 Lakh Sim Cards Fraud Numbers in Scam Activities All Details

If you also rely on the investment or job offer from an unknown number, then this news is important for you. A recent report states that the telecom department (DOT) has blacklisted SIM cards from 3 to 4 lakhs so far from a special AI-based system. All these numbers were allegedly associated with fraud and scams. For this, Dot has prepared a special financial fraud risk indicator (FRI) system, which was launched a few months ago.

Latest of ET Report According to, this FRI system of DOT has blocked 3 to 4 lakh SIM cards so far. The tool is reportedly detecting around 2,000 mobile numbers every day, which are mostly associated with jobs and investment.

A senior DOT official told Publication that as soon as a mobile number is marked as a “high risk” through FRI, the system also discovers other SIM cards associated with that number on the network. This work is done by AI-powered pattern matching. That is, not only one number, the entire network attached to it is tracked.

Due to this system, last month, UPI platforms, such as Google Pay, PhonePe and Paytm, have been able to stop a potential fraud transactions worth several crores.

In July 2025, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) advised all banks, whether they are commercial, payment banks or cooperative banks, to integrate the FRI system in their platform. After this, the processing speed and action time have also been reduced by making some improvement in the FRI system.

BSNL Presents Special Yatra Sim For Amarnath Pilgrims to Ensure Connectivity, Know Price

The price of this recharge plan of BSNL is Rs 196 and its validity period will be 15 days. In this, users will get unlimited calls and data for 15 days with 4G connectivity. On the route of Amarnath Bsnl Devotees can easily buy the journey SIM. In Jammu and Kashmir, this sim will be available at major checkpoints where devotees start their Amarnath Yatra or stop during the journey. These places include Lakhanpur, Pahalgam, Baltal, Chandrakot and Bhagwati Nagar.

The company had also made arrangements to give a new SIM card to a devotee’s SIM card if the SIM card was lost or spoiled. Last month, BSNL launched a new service for delivery on the Dorstep of the SIM card. An online portal has been started for this. Through this portal, customers will get a SIM card at their home. For this, customers have to go to https://sancharaadhaar.bsnl.co.in/bsnlskyc. PIN code, applicant’s name and alternative mobile number have to be entered on this portal. After this an OTP will be sent to alternative mobile number for confirmation. It will have prepaid and postpaid SIM options available.

BSNL Starts Portal for Doorstep Delivery of Sim Card With Self-Kyc Verification, Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel

It is the first customized 5G FWA with indigenous technology without sim. This service of the company has been launched in Hyderabad, Telangana and will soon be extended to many other cities. Initially, the company is charging Rs 999 for plan for 100 Mbps for this service and Rs 1,499 for 300 MBPS. In this service, a modem is installed outside the premises of the subscriber and signal is transmitted from a nearby base station for wireless broadband service. It does not require optical fiber for connection.

The 5G network of BSNL may be launched soon. The company’s 5G service will be called Q-5G. In this, Q means Quantum. BSNL plans to increase equipment for 4G and 5G networks. The 5G network of large private telecom companies is present in a large part of the country. To compete with these companies, BSNL needs to launch 5G service soon. BSNL helping in uninterrupted communications in Mahakumbh

Government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is playing an important role in strengthening communication infrastructure at Mahakumbh, the world’s largest religious event. The Communications Ministry has reported that BSNL is helping to ensure connectivity at Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

BSNL has set up a customer service center in the Mela area of Mahakumbh, where free SIM cards, solutions of complaints and communication services are being provided to the devotees. In Mahakumbh, devotees from different parts of the country are being provided free SIM cards from their respective circles. If the SIM card of a devotee is lost or deteriorated, then BSNL has made arrangements to give them a new SIM card. This is service free and this will not obstruct the devotees in contact with their family and friends. The Communications Ministry said that demand has increased rapidly for services like fiber connections, leased line connections and mobile recharge in Mahakumbh.

Due to the available SIM card from various states, along with devotees, security forces posted in the fair area are also getting the facility. 90 BTS towers have been installed in the Mela area of Mahakumbh. Apart from this, internet leased lines, Wi-Fi hotspots, webcasting, bulk SMS, satellite phone services have also been provided by BSNL. This year 5G service of BSNL can start. In November last year, in the Delhi-NCR region, BSNL gave a tender for more than 1,800 5G sites. Three companies – Tejas Networks, Lekha Wireless and Galore Network have been bid for this tender. Tata Sons has a major stake in Tejas Networks. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) -led consortium also includes Tejas Networks installing about one million 4G sites for BSNL.

The company plans to launch 5G network using 900 MHz low-band and 3.5 GHz mid-band spectrum. BSNL has increased the launch of its 4G network launch. About 65,000 4G sites of the company have been activated. The company has used technology made in the country for this network. The company aims to reach one lakh 4G sites by the middle of this year.
