The Censor Board has come under the scanner of the film, under which instructions have been given to make many important changes in it.

CBFC made these changes in ‘Ikkis’

• CBFC has asked the makers to make appropriate changes in the opening disclaimer of ‘Ikkis’. Under which we have to express our gratitude to Poona Horse Regiment, Colonel Hanuth Singh and the tank crew.
• The Censor Board had also asked to add a voice over in the disclaimer and also suggested adding pictures of warriors and a voiceover about Arun’s tank crew.
• The Censor Board has directed the makers of ‘Ikkis’ to add text along with the voiceover in the end credits of the film. Also, the complete image of the Lieutenant General should be added in the credits after taking the advice of a defense expert.
• CBFC has removed the name of a tank from the second part of ‘Ikkis’. There was a 15-second dialogue on India-Pakistan relations in the film, CBFC has suggested removing it too.
• CBFC has asked the makers to blur the name of the liquor brand in the film. Apart from this, instructions have also been given to add anti-smoking message.
• With all these cuts and changes, ‘Ikkis’ has been passed by CBFC with U/A (13+) certificate.
• According to the censor certificate, the total runtime of the film is 147.15 minutes i.e. 2 hours 27 minutes and 15 seconds.
