After the Pahalgam terrorist attack last year, the government took strict action against Pakistan and decided to suspend the Indus Water Treaty. From time to time, there is anger in the neighboring countries against this decision of India. It is reported that once again protests have intensified in Pakistan regarding this Indus Water Agreement, in which slogans are being raised that ‘We will not spare Indus.’

According to the report of Pakistani newspaper Dawn, Bilawal Bhutto’s Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) wants to raise the issue of Indus Water Agreement among the people. Regarding this, PPP had taken out a rally in Sindh, in which party workers demonstrated in many cities from Karachi to Shikarpur. During this, the protesters also raised slogans that they will die but will not give up their claim on Indus at all.

‘There will be no other option except war’

According to the report, Sindh government minister Saeed Ghani termed the Indus Accord as a national issue and said that it does not affect any one province but the entire Pakistan. He called it the lifeline of the country. Referring to Bilawal Bhutto’s speech in Sukkur, he said, ‘Our leader has warned that we will not remain silent if Indus water is stopped.’ While giving a jackal bark, he also said that ‘If Pakistanis do not get water and food, then there will be no other option left except war.’

Why did India postpone the Indus Agreement?

Taking a tough stand against Pakistan, the Indian Government has decided not to implement the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) for the time being. According to a report, this step is not against the general public of Pakistan, but has been taken to put pressure on the government of Pakistan because it uses terrorism as a weapon. According to a report by ‘International Center for Peace Studies’, Pakistan has been continuously using provocative statements and non-diplomatic language against India. Additionally, its continued support for cross-border terrorism and repeated military aggression has weakened the spirit of the Indus Water Treaty.

Amidst Tehran’s attacks, Trump’s big statement on Hormuz, said – this path is open without Iran, will remain open

Many leaders of PAK have given jackal shouts.

Recently, Pakistan’s Climate Change Minister Musaddiq Masood Malik said in a press conference, ‘Whoever touches our water, his hands will be cut off.’ Pakistan Army spokesperson (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary reportedly said, if you stop our water, we will stop your breathing. Earlier, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief and terrorist Hafiz Saeed had said, if you stop water, we will stop your breathing and blood will flow in these rivers.

Two years have passed since the attack on Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, know what the US President said about the incident?
