In the viral video on social media, it can be seen that the person is asking girls to ‘do not spoil’ the culture of Rishikesh and ‘stop it all’. He can be heard saying, ‘This is not our culture. In the video, the girls giving ‘audition’ are also seen arguing with her and telling her a lot.

She is seen arguing that when her parents have no objection to their costumes, no outsider has any right to interrupt them. However, the local police and administration have denied knowing about the incident.

According to the information received, these auditions were being taken under the dance-singing competition organized for the Diwali fair of ‘Lions Club Royal’ on October 4. Later, Rishikesh’s Mayor Shambhu Paswan, who came to attend the municipal meeting at the hotel, also reached the site of the ‘audition’ on receiving information about the uproar and encouraged the girls present there.

Pankaj Chandani, president of ‘Rishikesh Lions Club Royal’, said that any person should have taken the permission of the organizers before entering the ‘audition’ site. He informed that the club has been organizing dance and singing competition continuously for the last five years.
