The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the application process for single girl child scholarship 2025. Eligible students can go to the official website cbse.gov.in and register online for renewal of new application or 2024.

This scholarship is given to the students who are the only children of their parents and who have passed the class 10 examination with at least 60% marks. Financial assistance of Rs 500 will be given to the students selected every month. This benefit will be available for a maximum of two years.

Two types of applications can be made under this scheme. First, the single girl child scholarship X-2025, who is for students who have passed class 10 from CBSE in 2025 and are now studying in CBSE-affiliated school in class 11. Second, single girl child scholarship X-2024 (renewal 2025), for which the same students can apply who have been given this scholarship before.

Who can apply?

The applicant should be an Indian citizen and should have the only child of his parents. It is mandatory to get at least 60% marks in class 10th CBSE exam. The student is currently studying in a school related to CBSE in class 11 or 12. The benefit of this scholarship will be available only when the tuition fee does not exceed Rs 1,500 per month. At the same time, this limit has been kept at Rs 6,000 per month for NRI students.

Students have to go to the official website of CBSE cbse.nic.in to apply. Click on the link ‘Single Girl Child Scholarship X-2025 Reg’ available on the homepage. After this, choose a new application or renewal of old application. After filling the information sought, upload the necessary documents and submit the form. It is necessary to keep a copy of the application form safe for the future.
