On the last day of campaigning for Bihar elections, Assam Chief Minister and BJP leader Himanta Biswa Sarma gave a controversial statement in a public meeting in Siwan. During the meeting, Sarma compared local leader and RJD candidate Osama Shahab with Osama Bin Laden without taking his name and said that all the Osamas in this country have to be eliminated one by one. He said that this country is the country of Ram-Sita and the supremacy of someone like Osama Bin Laden will never be accepted. While addressing a public meeting in Siwan regarding Bihar Assembly elections, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reminded people of Lalu Yadav’s rule. Referring to RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, the Home Minister said, “If you have done any development work in 20 years, then tell the people of Siwan.
