It is not a secret that not getting enough sleep is dangerous for your health. However, a new research has shown that too much gold can be equally dangerous. According to a meta analysis, taking more than eight hours of sleep at night can increase the risk of your death by 34%, while less gold increases the risk by 14%.

More than 170 diseases are related to poor sleep

Researchers analyzing the sleep data of 88,461 adults of UK Biobank found that more than 170 diseases are connected to poor sleep sleep. These diseases include serious problems like Parkinson’s, type 2 diabetes and acute kidney failure. Research also revealed that the risk of death in those sleeping for a long time is more than those who sleep.

Long naps are also harmful

Researchers have found that not only night sleep, naps taken in the day can also affect your health. Accounting of another study, taking more than 30 minutes long naps also increases the risk of death. According to the Sleep Foundation, the Ideal Nap Duration should be between 20 and 30 minutes, so that you can feel fresh without going to deep sleep.

How many hours should you sleep?

According to the National Institute of Aging (NIA), seven to nine hours of sleep is the best for adults. Sleep Doctor and AASM’s spokesperson, Dr. Indira Gurbhagavatula, says that we recommend that adults should take seven or more hours of sleep regularly, so that they feel fresh and are ready for the coming days. He further said that if you get a lot of sleep during the day or there is a problem in irritability, dullness and memory, then it is necessary to talk to the doctor about your sleep.

Tips to bring your sleep on track

First limit screen time and create a relaxing routine to sleep. Sleep and wake up every day at the same time. Avoid taking late caffeine during the day. Do not eat too much food two to three hours before bedtime. Also, do regular exercises, but do not workout two hours before bedtime. If even after these tips, there is no improvement in your sleep quality, then consult a doctor to examine Possible underlining regions.

We and you have always been hearing good sleep and good health and good mind are very important. It is often seen that even in a serious disease, doctors try to give a good sleep to the patient so that the disease can recover as soon as possible. Average, it is said to humans that we should get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep at night. But do you know if you take more sleep for 15 minutes, what kind of miraculous effect can it put on your mind? A new research has claimed that even a slight increase in sleep periods can also make a wonderful increase in cognitive ability in youth. Let’s know in detail what has been claimed in new research.

A new research has come to light about the period of sleep, which says that a slight increase during the sleep period can affect the mental health. It can increase the ability of knowledge in youth. Research included 3222 teenagers whose age was between 9 years and 14 years. It was found that the teenagers who were getting a little more sleep increased their brain capacity. The average duration of sleep was kept here 7 hours and 10 minutes, but the teenagers who were getting only 15 minutes more than this, ie 7 hours 25 minutes were sleeping, they found better results in things, solutions and focus on the problem, etc. That is, reading, problem solving and focus were found more among these teenagers.

Clinical neurocycologist Barbara Sahakian of Cambridge University According‘Although the difference in the amount of sleep to each group was relatively low, there was a difference of just one fourth hour (15 minutes) between the best and the worst gold, yet we could see the difference in their well presentation in the structure and activity of the brain.’

Researchers also assessed the heart rate of participants, which found that Group-3 had the lowest heart rate in sleep stages and the highest in Group-1. Low heart rate is usually a sign of better health, while higher heart rate is often accompanied by the quality of poor sleep such as restless sleep, frequent waking up and excessive sleep during the day.
