According to the new report by Counterpoint Research, smartphone shipments in India have declined by 7 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2025. This decline has been seen due to higher inventory levels and low launched new devices. Let us know about it in detail.</p>
<p>In the first quarter of 2025, Vivo came at the top of the market with a 22 percent volume share, compared to 19 percent in the same quarter last year, that is, the company has registered a growth of 3 percent. According to the data of the research firm, Samsung has come with 17 percent stake on the second number. At the same time, Chinese smartphone manufacturer has been Oppo with 15 percent stake at number three.</p>
<p>According to Counterpoint, Xiaomi has ranked fourth with just 13 percent stake in January to March, much lower than the 19 percent stake in the first quarter of last year. Realme has come in fifth place with 11 percent stake, which took a slight lead from the 10 percent of the last year&#8217;s share.</p>
<p>Cupertino -based company Apple recorded a 29 percent growth on an annual basis, the highest in India so far in India. Apart from this, the iPhone manufacturer led the market with a 26 percent stake in the first quarter of the year. Apart from this, Nothing has grown in the first quarter of 2025 on a annual basis of 156 percent and it is the company growth in the fifth consecutive quarter. At the same time, Motorola has registered a growth of 59 percent on an annual basis.</p>
