She used to say the same thing to her mother and her mother also used to scold her.

Deepak told how he had tears in his eyes before doing Smita’s last make-up. Recalling his last day, he said, ‘After his death, his sister was coming from Chicago and it took 2-3 days for her to arrive. During this time his body was kept on ice and had become swollen.

She further said, ‘Her mother gave me a make-up kit and said that Smita’s last wish was to go as a married woman. Amitabh Bachchan and others were sitting there. I started crying and while crying I did her makeup. I did her last make-up and made her look very beautiful on her last day.

Raj Babbar and Smita’s marriage

Let us tell you that Smita married actor Raj Babbar in 1983 and welcomed Prateek Babbar, but Smita died during labor pain on December 13, 1986.
