Instagram head Adam Mossy said that a new test is being started to change the algorithm of users. In this, users will be able to add and delete topics as per their wish. First this feature will come on Reels and later it will be rolled out for Explore feed.

How will the feature work?

According to the information, after the rollout of this feature, users will be able to set whether they want to see more or less reels related to which topic in their feed. This will give people more control to manage content on Instagram. Let us tell you that for some time now Instagram has been trying to make its recommendation system transparent and this latest feature is a part of that initiative. In the last few years, the company has given many options including limiting sensitive content, fine-tuning parental controls and hiding unnecessary posts.

Watch history feature also rolled out

Recently Instagram has rolled out the feature of Watch History. In this, users will be able to watch their previously seen reels again. In this, there will be an option to search by date, week, month and even the reels watched on a specific date.
