Sonam Khan further clarified that during the shooting of ‘Tridev’ both she and Rajiv Rai were in their respective relationships. But the truth is that Rajiv was with his girlfriend on the set and I was also in a relationship with my boyfriend. Both of us were already committed at that time.

Sonam further said, the song ‘Oye Oye’ suddenly came to me. Actually, Rajeev Rai did not want to cast me in ‘Tridev’. Earlier he had almost finalized another actress. I was his last choice at that time when he had no other option left. So there was no romance, no secret calls, and no special benefit from the director.

Sonam said in the end, ‘Just me and a catchy song. Rajiv and I actually started dating long after the release of Tridev, because at that time we were both single and we did not need to give any explanation to anyone.
