South Africa has made two major changes in its team for the 2026 T20 World Cup. Tristan Stubbs and Ryan Rickleton were not part of South Africa’s original squad, but now both have been included in the World Cup team. On the other hand, Tony De Jorji and Donovan Ferreira have been dropped from the squad. The South African has not made changes in the squad after any reconsideration but has had to make changes due to injuries. Further changes in the squad are possible due to injuries.

On Thursday, the South African Cricket Board issued a statement saying that De Jorji will not be able to recover from the hamstring injury, in such a situation Rickleton’s name has come up.

South Africa is included in Group D of T20 World Cup 2026. Afghanistan, Canada, New Zealand and UAE are also present in this group.
