Former South Korean President Yeon Suk-yeol had incited North Korea to attack in order to impose martial law in his country. This disclosure has been given by the investigation committee formed against the jailed former President.

Covert drone sent into North Korea’s airspace
According to the investigation, Yol, along with the Defense Minister of his cabinet and the chief of the intelligence agency, had sent covert drones into North Korea’s airspace to impose martial law. These drones were sent to the ancestral home of North Korean dictator Kim Jong. By doing this, the deposed President of South Korea had conspired to create a war-like situation with North Korea. But when North Korea did not retaliate, Yeol imposed martial law on December 3, 2024, accusing his country’s opposition leaders of being in collusion with North Korea.

The conspiracy collapsed in six hours
After about six hours of martial law, Yol had to withdraw his decision. Because the opposition parties, along with the army, police and public, had foiled Yol’s conspiracy. MPs of opposition parties and the public had captured the Parliament of South Korea and took to the streets. According to the investigative committee, Yole had tried to impose military-junta (military rule) in South Korea.

Impeachment and arrest
Parliament had ousted Yol from the post of President through impeachment. In the month of April this year, a total of 24 people including Yol and five ministers of his cabinet were arrested and sent to jail. These included the Intelligence Chief and the Army Chief. For almost six months, the investigation committee has unearthed the conspiracy to impose martial law by inquiring against Yol.

Fear of losing power after election defeat
According to the committee, after his defeat in the parliamentary elections, Yol began to fear losing his seat. In such a situation, Yol conspired to impose military rule under his leadership so that the democratic structure could be destroyed and power could be continued.

North Korean ruler Kim Jong Un is willing to talk to America and this meeting can happen soon in Washington. Yonhap News Agency has made this claim quoting some reports of South Korea’s Intelligence Agency (NIS). According to the report, the South Korean agency feels that there is a possibility of a summit between North Korea and America.

The intelligence agency estimates that this meeting may take place after the joint military drill between America and South Korea in March next year. According to the report, after the parliamentary audit on the National Intelligence Service (NIS), MP Lee Seong-kwan told reporters, ‘NIS believes that Kim Jong Un is ready for talks with the US and will contact the US when the conditions are right.’

North Korea ready to talk to America on this condition

Requested comment from the White House regarding the possibility of a summit, but did not receive a response. North Korean leader Kim has said that he is ready to talk to America if Washington gives up the demand to eliminate nuclear weapons, but when US President Donald Trump offered talks during his visit to South Korea last week, he (Kim) did not respond publicly.

Trump, who visited South Korea before the APEC summit last week, had said while answering media questions, ‘We will come back and very soon, we will meet North Korea.’ Trump and Kim held summit talks in 2018 and 2019 before talks broke down over Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons arsenal. North Korea is under strict international sanctions regarding these weapons as well as its ballistic missiles.

Kim fears high blood pressure

Yonhap reported that another lawmaker told reporters after the parliamentary session that Kim did not appear to have any major health problems, although there were earlier reports that he may have high blood pressure. The lawmaker said the North Korean leader’s teenage daughter, Kim Ju Ae, is strengthening her position as his potential successor, although she has been out of the limelight for the past 60 days.

An important diplomatic step was seen between South Korea and China during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference. Recently elected South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Saturday hosted Chinese President Xi Jinping for the first time. This meeting was held in Gyeongju city of South Korea, where both the leaders discussed many important issues in the state level meeting and dinner. The special thing about this visit was that Xi Jinping reached South Korea after almost a decade, which is expected to bring new energy in the relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, President Lee Jae-Myung appealed to China for help in resuming talks with North Korea. He said that the recent high-level talks between China and North Korea are indicating that a favorable environment is being created for talks with North Korea. “I want South Korea and China to take advantage of this positive environment to strengthen strategic communication and resume dialogue with North Korea,” Lee said.

Why is this meeting important?

According to Reuters report, this meeting was important for both the countries from economic and political point of view. Lee Jae-Myung gifted Xi Jinping a high-quality wooden board for the traditional Chinese strategic game ‘Go’ during the meeting. He said that South Korea wants to bring China closer as its largest trading partner.

  What did Xi Jinping say?

Xi Jinping said in his address, “China and South Korea are important neighbors that can neither be removed nor isolated. Both countries should move forward with cooperation and trust.”

What happened between the two leaders in the meeting?

In the meeting, both the leaders also discussed regional stability, strengthening economic relations and maintaining security balance in Asia. South Korea, a strategic ally of the US, advocated a phased approach to North Korea’s denuclearization. However, North Korea rejected this proposal, calling it an “impossible dream”.

Leader Kim Jong Un had said this about America

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un recently said that he will talk to America only if America completely abandons the terms of denuclearization. This statement has increased tension in the region, but this meeting between South Korea and China is being seen as a new hope for restoration of peace in this direction.

US President Donald Trump and China’s President Xi Jinping met today on Thursday (October 30, 2025) in Busan city of South Korea. During this historic meeting, Trump shook hands with Xi Jinping. Donald Trump said that it is a matter of great honor. I think we will have a great relationship for a long time and it is an honor to have you with us. I have no doubt that our meeting will be very successful.

This meeting of the two leaders, which took place after about 6 years, is considered important in many ways. Chinese President Xi Jinping said in his address that his country is ready to work with America. Xi Jinping praised Trump for his role in ending the Gaza war. Xi Jinping said that President Trump, it was a great pleasure to meet you and it is great to see you again because it has been many years. We have spoken on the phone three times since your re-election. Under our joint guidance, China-US relations have remained stable.

Sometimes it is natural to have differences – Jinping
The Chinese President said that due to our different national circumstances, we do not always agree with each other and it is natural for the world’s two leading economies to sometimes have differences of opinion. American relations should be taken in the right direction. I have always believed that China’s development goes hand in hand with your vision of making America great again.

‘China-America should be partners and friends’
He further said that both the countries are fully capable of helping each other in success and prosperity. Over the years, I have said many times publicly that China and America should be partners and friends. This is what these issues have taught us and this is what reality demands. A few days ago, both our economic teams reached a basic consensus to address key concerns. President Trump, I look forward to working with you to lay a strong foundation for China-US relations and create a strong environment for the development of our two countries. Mr. President, you are very concerned about world peace and are very eager to resolve various regional sensitive issues.

Trump praised for Gaza ceasefire
Jinping said that I appreciate your contribution to the recent Gaza ceasefire agreement. During your visit to Malaysia, you got the Joint Declaration signed for peace on the Cambodia-Thailand border. Cambodia and Thailand resolved their border disputes appropriately and we are also promoting peace talks to resolve other sensitive issues.

The Chinese President said that today the world is facing many difficult problems. China and America can fulfill their responsibilities as major countries. Both the countries can work together to make the whole world better.

US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping finally met. Trump and Jinping met on Thursday (October 30) in the South Korean city of Busan. These two last met in 2019 and now the meeting has taken place after 6 years.
According to ‘PTI’ report, Trump said, ,very much of china Special And we are going to have a conversation with the respected President.
The meeting between President Trump and Jinping has taken place at a time when a tariff war has been going on between the two for a long time. However, it is now hoped that the tariff issue between China and America can be resolved. Trump said, ,Trade deals can be signed today., After Trump increased tariffs on China, Jinping stopped buying its soybeans, which was causing losses to American farmers.
On one hand, US President Donald Trump praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and described him as a very good, influential and very strict person. On the other hand, while once again commenting on the India-Pakistan conflict, he claimed that he had stopped the recent military clash between the two countries. A few hours before this, the US President also claimed that between May 7 and 10, seven brand new aircraft were shot down during Operation Vermillion.

Addressing the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit in Gyeongju, South Korea, Trump said, ‘Prime Minister Modi is a very fine person, he is a person in whom you see the image of your father. He is very effective. He is very strict.

Trump said on talks with PM Modi

Trump arrived in South Korea on Wednesday (October 29, 2025) morning from Japan, which is part of his trip to three countries in Asia. He said he has excellent relations with Prime Minister Modi and reiterated that he had taken the help of trade to prevent conflict between India and Pakistan.

“Prime Minister Modi is the nicest looking guy… he looks like you’d like to have your father like… he’s a killer… he’s tough as… pic.twitter.com/mtKntxNgo3

The US President said, ‘I called Prime Minister Modi. I said we can’t make a trade deal with you. He (Modi) said, no, no, we should do business. I said no, we can’t, if you are going to fight a war with Pakistan then we will not do business again.

Trump praised Asim Munir

Apart from this, Donald Trump also praised Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir and described him as an excellent warrior and a good person. He said, ‘Then I called the Field Marshal of Pakistan. I said we will not do business with you because you are fighting with India and you know both of you are nuclear nations. He (Munir) said no, no, you let us fight. Both (Modi and Munir) said the same. Trump claimed that the leaders of both the countries called him two days later and asked him to stop the conflict.

He said, ‘Just two days later they called and said they understood and they stopped the fight. is not it wonderful? Now think about whether (former President) Joe Biden could have done this?

Trump gave a different statement in Tokyo

However, a few hours before these comments, Trump had claimed in Japan’s capital Tokyo that he had stopped the war in just 24 hours. Trump is often known for contradictions in his statements. During a dinner with businessmen in Tokyo on Tuesday (October 28, 2025), Trump said, ‘Seven planes were shot down, seven brand new, beautiful planes, and those were two major nuclear powers clashing with each other.’

India did Operation Sindoor in Pakistan

It is noteworthy that on May 10, Trump had announced on social media that India and Pakistan have agreed to a complete and immediate ceasefire. He had claimed that this was possible after late night talks mediated by Washington. Since then, Trump has claimed several times that he helped resolve the India-Pakistan conflict.

India has consistently clarified that the ceasefire agreement with Pakistan was reached through direct talks between the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of the armies of the two countries. India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, in which terrorist hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) were targeted. This was in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, in which 26 civilians were killed. India and Pakistan agreed to end the conflict on May 10 after four days of drone and missile attacks.

The heads of state of both the countries are going to meet for the first time amid the ongoing tariff war between China and America. China has confirmed that President Xi Jinping will meet US President Donald Trump in South Korea on Thursday (29 October 2025). With this meeting, traders and investors in the Pacific region hope that the trade tensions that have been going on for months will reduce. The two will meet in Korea on the sidelines of the Asia Pacific Economic Corporation (APEC) Summit.

Trump-Jinping will meet in Busan, South Korea

China Foreign Ministry said that there will be talks between the two heads of state on strategic and many important issues. However, China did not directly mention the trade agreement on which the leaders of the world’s two largest economies have agreed to meet in Busan, South Korea. The meeting between Trump and Xi Jinping is taking place at a time when America has threatened to impose 100 percent tariff on Chinese goods from November 1, 2025.

Consensus has been reached on the framework of the trade deal.

US Finance Minister Scott Besant had also indicated on Monday (27 October 2025) that Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping could meet in South Korea. He had claimed that an agreement has been reached between the two countries regarding the framework of a possible trade agreement. He had said that this framework can help China avoid 100 percent tariff.

Why is Trump angry at China?

China further tightened controls on the export of rare earth minerals needed to manufacture high-tech products, after which Trump announced 100 percent tariff on Beijing. For the past few months, China has stopped purchasing soybean from America, due to which American farmers are facing a crisis. China has been the largest buyer of American soybeans. Trump had said that China’s restrictions on rare earth, soybean and other things are like a direct economic attack on America.

US President Donald Trump is currently going to make his first major foreign trip of his second term. During this time he is going to visit many countries in Asia. This visit is not just formal, but is being considered a sign of America’s new strategic presence in Asia. Trump will visit Malaysia, Japan and South Korea during this tour. The most interesting thing is that during this visit, he is expected to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, on which the eyes of the whole world are fixed.

Trump is going to start the trip from Malaysia, where he is going to attend the ASEAN summit from 26 to 28 October. This is the same platform from which Trump used to maintain distance during his previous tenure, but this time he has made it a priority of his foreign policy. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has announced that a new trade agreement will be signed between the two countries. Along with this, Trump is also going to play a role in the peace initiative between Thailand and Cambodia. Malaysian media says that this is an attempt to revive Trump’s peacemaker image, which may include him in the race for the Nobel Peace Prize in the future.

There will be a historic meeting with the first woman Prime Minister in Japan

After Malaysia, Trump will reach Japan, where he will meet the country’s new Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. Takaichi is the first female Prime Minister of Japan and her appointment is being considered a symbol of change in Japanese politics. Both the leaders will discuss topics like defense cooperation and energy security. Trump indicated that the US wants Japan to reduce its dependence on Russian energy imports and contribute more to regional defense. This dialogue between Japan and America is being considered a strategic step towards balancing China’s growing influence in Asia.

Trump-Xi meeting expected in South Korea

The third and most talked about stop of Trump’s trip is going to be South Korea, where he will participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) conference. It is here that the discussion about his possible meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping is in full swing. If this meeting takes place, it will be considered a major turning point towards calming the US-China trade war. Trump said he looked forward to constructive talks with Xi Jinping and also indicated that China could mediate the peace process between Russia and Ukraine if it wishes. However, the White House has also clarified that the meeting has not been confirmed yet, which shows that the tension between the two countries is still not completely over.

North Korea’s missile challenge and respect for Trump
Just before Trump’s visit, North Korea tested new ballistic missiles, which once again heated up the security environment. Despite this, the South Korean government has announced that it is considering awarding Trump the Grand Order of Mugunghwa, the country’s highest civilian honor. Trump may also meet North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during this visit, although no formal announcement has been made on this.

South Korea is scheduled to host the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit later this month. Leaders of 21 major countries will participate in this conference. But before that, North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles on Wednesday, raising security and diplomatic concerns in the region. Experts say that such launches may increase further amid preparations for the conference.

Launch and aiming of missiles
South Korea’s army said that the missiles were fired towards the East Sea (Sea of Japan) and their flight range was about 350 kilometers. Initial speculation was that they would fall in the sea, but later the Army confirmed that they fell within the international border. South Korea’s Joint Staff said they are monitoring possible new launches and exercising caution by sharing intelligence with the US and Japan. North Korea also fired short-range ballistic and cruise missiles in May, before new South Korean President Lee Jae Myung was in office.

Kim Jong Un’s new missile and military display
Earlier this month, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un demonstrated the new Hwasong-20 intercontinental ballistic missile at a military parade held in Pyongyang. It was described as North Korea’s most powerful missile. China, Russia and other global leaders were also present in this parade. This parade was organized on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Workers’ Party.

North Korea’s policy
Pyongyang has repeatedly challenged global sanctions and has said the weapons program is necessary to defend against potential American and South Korean threats. US President Donald Trump has expressed the possibility of meeting Kim again this year. North Korea also made it clear that it will not give up its nuclear weapons, but is ready for talks.
