After the recent defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, another big deal has been signed. This deal is about creating a common intelligence system. The purpose behind creating joint intelligence mechanism between the two staunch Sunni Islamic countries is being said to strengthen mutual coordination in action against national security and terrorism.

According to the report, this committee will work to protect the top officials and other sensitive persons of both countries from potential hazards or attacks. According to the report of News-18, an intelligence hotline will be set up between Islamabad and Riyadh under this initiative to share intelligence information in regular and real time.

Both will strengthen their safety structure
According to Pakistan’s top security sources, under this agreement, both governments have agreed that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will have to further strengthen their security structure in the changing geo-political situation. This new arrangement will be done around the Joint Intelligence Committee, which will monitor national security and anti-terrorism activities.

ISI-GID will make special intelligence sales
According to the deal, now Pakistan’s intelligence agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Saudi Arabia’s General Intelligence Presidency (GID) will create special intelligence sales in their respective headquarters. Their job will be to gather intelligence, assess the danger and take a coordinated action to deal with security challenges.

Joint training programs will also be started for intelligence officials of both countries. It will not only include data sharing system, but also a system of issuing advance warnings for anti-terrorism campaigns will also be made.

Saudi defense delegation will go to Pakistan
A high -level defense delegation of Saudi Arabia will visit Pakistan next month with regard to this strategic partnership. The purpose of this tour is to review the progress of the agreement and discuss the structure associated with intelligence cooperation in detail. Officials say that this tour will be a concrete step towards reaching out the initiative decided by the new committee.
